Mind my lament. Agencies, agencies, agencies. Interviews, interviews, interviews.
That pretty much sums up these 2 weeks. *Keeping fingers crossed* By next week I'll get a phonecall with good news =)
No wait, this just in. While I'm typing this I got an SMS. I got a job! Yay!! Starting the day after Christmas. Although it's not something I did before, and it's going to be challenging, I shall take it as an experience.
Here are some pictures on recent outings:
'Old men' came over for steamboat cum guitar heroes world tour session cum celebration of Bobo and szetho's belated birthdays. Had a blast. 'New man' you're welcome anytime. Choy and kang, waiting for you all to come and play!
Supposed to be a belated celebration of October babies' birthdays but look at the pathetic turnout! But at least we had fun. Exploring the new and ABSOLUTELY HUMONGOUS Jurong Point was nice. Discovering the beautiful new Guan Yin temple at Chinatown with weilong was cool. Hope our next ktv outing can be more successful.

Okay, I'm still quite happy I got the job. Hehe.

So here's promised, the review of Britney Spears' new album, Circus. It's on repeat in my dad's car.
Star power:
Probably as solid as her previous outing, Blackout, this album certainly marks the return of the Princess of Pop after the whole world watched her crumble into a state of mental breakdown.
But yeah, she's back! Let's go to a track to track analysis:
1. Womanizer : A strong, catchy single that's already an anthem of 2008. Do watch MadTv's spoof of this music video ('I'm More Wizer') at this link.
2. Circus : A rollicking follow-up to Womanizer. Boasts some mean beats.
3. Out From Under : One of two ballads on this album. And slow songs are the perfect time to reveal things about her personal life. This time, it's her failed marriage with KFed.
4. Kill The Lights : Reminiscent of Piece of Me. Sexy and dance-worthy.
5. Shattered Glass : In my opinion, the strongest and my favourite track of the album. Great beats. Showcases Britney's synthesised voice at her very best (a compliment, actually).
6. If You Seek Amy : The cheekiest and most enjoyable track. You won't understand the title and the lyrics until you check out what it means on the internet. All I can say is, it's not very nice to repeat it here.
7. Unusual You : Strange song. Filler-track.
8. Blur : Very weak track. Also another filler.
9. Mmm Papi : Fun, hand-clapping and toe-tapping stuff.
10. Mannequin : Co-written by Britney. Minus all the dance-beats and this is actually quite a plain song.
11. Lace And Leather : More kitschy than sexy. Still, not bad.
12. My Baby : This song aims to repeat the success of her previous hit ballad Everytime. Pleasant to the ears and moving. Her child would be pleased.
Bonus Tracks:
13. Radar : Already released. Doesn't fit into Circus. More of a Blackout song.
14. Rock Me In : The second strongest on the album. The chorus has a hook that instantly draws you in. Why didn't they add this into the official track-list?
15. Phonography : Mean beats. This should've replaced 'Lace and Leather' as the sexual song on the album.

(You can listen to all the songs on Youtube)
Yup, that's about it.
Take care, peeps!
